The Khao Sok National Park in the Province of Suratthani (one of nowadays 77 Provinces in Thailand –comparable with your states-) in South Thailand is an amazing place. It is covered by the oldest evergreen rainforest of the world, huge limestone mountains are shooting straight up in the air. Deep breathtaking valleys, exciting caves, wild animals and much more will give you an impression of the environment. It is an impressive area to go on vacation which will give you unforgettable days in holiday.

The Khao Sok National Park covers a total area of 739 km² and it includes the Chieow Larn Lake dammed by the Ratchaprapha Dam with a water surface of 162 km². The park comprises the largest area of virgin forest in Southern Thailand and is a remnant of rainforest which is older and more diverse than the Amazon Rainforest. The wild mammals animals includes among other: Tapir, Elephant, Tiger, Sambar Deer, Bear, Serow, Wild Boar, Macaque, Langur and white handed Gibbon. It is perhaps the most famous place for the up to 80 cm large “Rafflesia kerrii Meijer” flower (the largest flower of the world) which grows within the park and discovered in the end of the 90 th’s.

The 1st Day:

Pick up from your hotel by air conditioned Mini Bus or Limousine. Time is depending on your hotel location
10:00 Elephant riding (about 1 hour)
11:30 Lunch
15:00 Arrival at Chieow Larn Lake, longtail boat to the floating bamboo raft house (about 1 hour) and check in
16:30 First dive excursion for acclimate
18:30 Dinner at the floating bamboo raft house restaurant, leisure
19:30 Night diving (about 2 hours), leisure

The 2nd Day:

07:30 Breakfast at the bamboo raft house restaurant
08:30 2 dive excursions to former villages and to crown it all, to an ancient temple. (about 4 hrs.)
13:00 Lunch at the bamboo raft house restaurant, leisure
15:00 Depart from the bamboo raft house, longtail boat trip to the pier (about 45 minutes)
17:00 Refreshment break at a coffee shop
18:30 Arrival at your hotel
